Beat Café, C33 Gallery, Columbia College Chicago, 2008

Inspired by Beat era coffee houses, the multimedia exhibition, Beat Café, showcased the radio/audio based work of students from the Radio Department. Exploring the social and cultural context of the Beat Movement, this exhibition made connections from the 1950’s movement to contemporary culture.

Collaborated with team to develop content, exhibition script, overall design and sourced artifacts.

Researched Beat movement and created installation drawing connections between core writers and contemporaries.

Co-curated by Dave Berner (Radio) and Robert Blandford (Business & Entrepreneurship).
