The Event Lab, Columbia College Chicago, 2020 - 2022

Established weekly virtual event series to create space for students to experiment, innovate and define new ways of gathering during Covid-19 safely while getting hands-on experience performing and producing live in a venue. The Event Lab provides these opportunities by harnessing the creative talents of our students and showcasing their work to the Columbia community, as well as a global audience.

Developed program concept and initiated collaboration with the Department of Exhibition and Performance Spaces to develop program and livestream capabilities through The Event Lab website, YouTube Live and Twitch.
Created processes for participation, recruited campus event programmers, collaborated with designers on website design and program branding, established viewer accessibility guidelines, oversaw student-developed marketing strategy and blog to document behind-the-scenes.
